A Video Wall Versus a Standing Desk

When you are gaming or working, it’s no surprise that more monitors can mean more productivity or more pwnage. Have you ever had to have multiple tabs open at once without enough screen space? We hear you, and with Evodesk you can check out our dual monitor arms that allow you to add up to four screens. You may be torn between a video wall or a multiple-monitor setup to solve your need for screens. Check out these setups, pros, and cons.

Video walls are when you attach multiple monitors to a wall and have them sync up into one giant screen. Here are a couple videos showcasing different styles, configurations, and how they did it.

This is one of the easier, and more expensive options, that allows you to put them in place and have the program do the heavy lifting.

Or a more jagged approach. As cool as this looks, I can’t help but think of the wasted screen area.
It all comes down to preference. With a video wall there can be more screens, and with a standing desk, you can go from sitting to standing at the push of a button. As incredible as the video wall is, once you set the wall, there is a specific position to either stand or sit without straining your neck (for proper ergonomic positioning). You can readjust the setup, but not as easily as pushing a button and getting on your feet.  A standing desk paired with Evotech or Ergo monitor arms gives you more screens and mobility. Configure your multiple monitor setup, get in the game, and get on your feet.
